Advice needed on CMH lamps...

If lamps put out harmfull amounts of uv and have no warning on the box or instructions i feel they would be liable for damages.

There must be some acknowledgement on the product if the uv was enough to damage human skin or eyes in my opinion.

Ive decided not to bother with this grow as my girls are only 2 weeks off harvest and it would take 3 or 4 days for the bulbs to arrive so a weeks worth of the cmh light would do nothing noticeable. However i will be running with them for the whole of the next grow from start to finish to see exactly how good they are.

600w CMH bulb on magnetic ballast seems interesting.
 
You will get some of the CMH benefits but without the square wave ballast its probably best to just use a HPS. Lamps may fail after only a few months use.

You carnt cheat with CMH. You need to spend the $ on the square wave.
