Advice On New Setup I'm Putting Together

Hey guys ,

been reading on here and learning so much and i think i am ready to start my first grow. I ordered my seeds from attitude and they have shipped so i should see those soon. Now its time to set up my grow space . Just looking to see if this set up would work :

i wanna go with a tent and think about either one of these two:

I want to go with a 400w hps/mh fixture. will that be ok with that size tent? you think ill have heating issues? if so i wanna go with this:

anyone have any experience with that light???

I will eventually get an air scrubber when i get to the flowering stage. I plan on getting nutes after i germinate as well, an oscillating fan to keep the air moving inside, and not sure what would be the best type of fan to bring air in for a tent. an inline duct fan? computer fan?

Any help is greatly appreciated , hopefully you guys can help so i can get growing soon

you Will have heat issues if you have nothing to exhaust the heat out of there.

alright so ill get the 4" inline centrifugal exhaust and just run it with out the carbon filter until flowering. Other than that does a 400W set up go with the tent size that i plan on getting?

looks like I'm gonna go with the 36x20x60 tent but if someone could let me know if i should go with the 400w or the 250w hps/mh light. I've searched on here but keep reading mixed answers. again, any help is appreciated!!

Hi Lazer, I'm thinking like you.There is a 32x32x60 tent avail.I believe a 2x4 would work best for me,easy to block off while plants are small.2 Haze/Sativas in 3 gal pots at a time, Lst or scrog with veg under cfl.Oder is the problem im stumped on now.Do you think Ona will handle this or will a scrubber be needed?

I'm just gonna go with a scrubber . a little more money right off the bat but I'm sure it'll be worth it in the long run

A Carbon scrubber is more cost efficient in the long run, and is in my opinion the best smell hiding option, with other choices just being supplemental. Ozone might be an option but I don't have personal experience. However with your size I think it would be over kill. With your tent size I would go with the 400w, 1 inline fan pulling from the carbon filter, blowing through the light to outside the room with a passive intake. Find a way to mount the filter over the light or something be ause real estate will be at a premium. In a pinch u can blow the air through the filter outside the tent to make more room. Less efficient, but can still do the job.
