Advice on nutrients please

My plants are 5 and a half weeks in flowering and it seems i have not been giving them the right nutes (leaves getting yellow and not looking happy, buds look great but it seems they have slowed down growing)
Can you guys/gals point me in the right direction as to what type/brand of nutes i should be feeding my plants....they are in 3 gallon pots/soil/purple kush

what are you feeding them now? what is the ph of the solution? runoff? it probably is not the type of nutes but how you are applying them. if the ph is off then your plants will be deficient because they can not uptake any nutrients, not because of the type of nutrients.

Here some pix taken today, purple kush are the plants but i dont think the medium leaves should go purple, could i be wrong.some leaves are very yellow with tips becoming increasingly brown,,,lowers leaves mostly.

thats SUPPOSED to happen. the Buds are eating the Nitrogen stored in the leaves and forcing the buds to grow.

you will end up harvesting in another 7-15 days....

nothing appears wrong with your plants they look amazing actually. i should have asked the strain DUH! purple kush is known to yellow like this in flower. you can check out a grow on youtube of purple kush that yellowed the same way. search GrowerMD's channel. oh and dont listen to uncle ben. he is a sour old fart who does not even grow anymore and just nay says everything. the yellowing looks normal especially since it is not starting from the bottom leaves and working its way up the way a yellowing from an N deficiency or lockout would show. i would not worry especially since you are so far inflower. keep doing what you are doing, youll be fine.

Thanks Corbat, 7 to 15 days would put me at (hmmm lets see, they went in flower aug 25 th so its now 40 days divided by weeks is 5.7, plus your 7 to 15 that puts me at 6.7 to 7.7 flowering time) isnt that a bit early for purple kush, someone had told me 9 weeks, does that make any sense...they grew from clone to now under a 1000 hps (overkill its why am a noob) maybe its why they sped up !!
