Advice on Stealth & Ventilation in apt grow...

So I recently move from a country house with no neighbours to a Duplex apt with neighbours joined on wither side and joined to the back of me.



I want to move my existing grow to this new location. Obviously I have some concerns, I need this grow to remain undected by both my neighbours and guests calling. No one knows that I grow friends included and i would like to keep it that way.



I have included a plan of my new apt and how I plan to set things up. Is there anything you would do differently or an you see any issues I might run into?

You will have to use air cooled lights as well or it will be too hot later in the year.
Instead of hydro with noisy pumps, big res full of water that needs emptying every 2 weeks that could spill and get just as good results if not better from pro quality coco made for growing dope and hand feed.

I agree coco is the tits I've been using it the last 3 years.

I grow with Autopots with a 75/25 coco/perlite split. I still have a res but no pumps and no real risk of flooding as the trays the pots are in can hold more than the tank.

I have this set up in another premise in a smaller room. Heat isn't an issue really but I am bring in fresh air directly from outside which I won't be doing now. Im hoping that I can get a grow in before the weather gets warm and maybe fit an AC unit but I'm not sure whats involved there.

I think I follow. And its something I was thinking myself...

So I use the bathrooms extractor fan as a fresh air intake, then vent the hot air from the tents into the bathroom yes?

no, disconnect the bathroom extractor fan and connect your grow room exhaust to the bathroom vent duct, so your scrubbed grow room air goes outside, then connect the bathroom extractor fan to a duct that leads into your grow room, so stinky bathroom air goes into the grow room (and eventually into your carbon filters)

I'm assuming you want to get rid of the scrubbed air from your tents, which still has an odor even if the weed smell is gone. You seem to be more concerned about getting "fresh' air into your grow, which isn't going to be a problem with humans respirating inside the apartment. Also, there is probably a vent above your stove where air will come in from outside if you're constantly exhausting air through the bathroom duct.

For guest popping in I've found something pretty awesome. Go to Wal-Mart and pick up some of the "Better Home and Garden" scented wax cubes. They're cheap as can be. You can also find the burners for them close by. They're electric ones and also ones where you just throw a tealight candle under it to heat/melt the wax. Just fire one of those up a half hour before guests arrive and they'll totally overpower any smell. Once upon a time Monkey Grinder chopped down 9 dope plants and had em hanging. We all know how fresh cut dope reeks. 24 hours later the bad luck demon decided that it was going to possess the then Miss Grinder. Apparently there was a domestic involving one of her friends and while Monkey Grinder was at work a 4 person family turned up to treat his living room as a woman's shelter for a night. You could imagine his concern after a 30 minute convo where it finally got around to "Please tell me you didn't ok 4 people to come over and stay did you?" But the woman fired up the wax cubes and kept them going and had the area totally locked (basement) He figured he was going to walk in and smell herb being masked by candles but was assaulted with "Farm Apple Pumpkin" So they're strong enough to overpower drying dope. You could get away with smoking indoors with little worry if you fired the wax cubes up 20 minutes or so prior.
