Hey guys!
My first grow ever is nearing its end. Probably 2-3 weeks at most until harvest time. This AeroGarden grow exceeded all my expectations, and I really learned a lot in the process on how to grow. (Especially with the help from this forum.) If you've never grown before, I strongly recommend the AeroGarden for starting out. It was like a hands-on course in hydroponics.
That all said, the small size of the reservoir became a monumental pain in the ass with my work schedule, especially during flowering. I had to top off water twice a day, and seemed to change temperature/pH really, really easy.
For my next grow, I'm looking to move into something that requires a lot less effort - that I could occasionally leave alone for a weekend, maybe even a week - without worry.
I'm looking at the Stealth Hydro Bubbleponics kits, but really open to any bubbleponic kit. Considering that I'm trying to keep this as low-maintenance as possible, what size reservoir should I go for? 8 Gallons? 18 Gallons? (I'm assuming that increasing the reservoir size will decrease how frequently I need to top up the water.)
If I'm planning on growing a personal grow of 4-5 plants in a 4 x 4 space, how big is too big, or what makes the most sense to move to considering my low-maintenance goal?
