Hi everyone hoping for a little help
Between week 4 and 5 of flower and starting to get some pretty spread yellowing....
It's my first grow and it's getting me a little worried that's all so thought I'd try get a more experienced opinion.
So it's an autopot system using canna coco a+b, cal-mag, rhizotonic and and dutchpro explode (pk).
Ec- 1.8 ( base ec 0.4 )
Ph- 5.8 - 6.0
Temps 17-20 deg lights of, 25-27 lights on
Humidity is at 60% though I'm trying to get it down.
Passive intake and 6" exhaust with 2 9" oscillating fans. I've tried my hardest to green them up even since they was little they always had a slight mute burn but it never seemed to slow them down. Should I worry or is it to late to care and just let them run? Any advice will be great thanks. gmk

They actually look pretty good.. some of the yellowing is nute burn some is natural..
You should be ok to let them finish!

this plants yellows as it dies naturally. maybe that's the reason. looks like they're finishing. go easy on ferts, be happy.

Thanks for the replies. Finishing at 4/5th week? That have got worse over the last week, I'll post a pic. I do understand they yellow as they start to finish but when should I start to worry if not now? Cheers ( pic is from a week ago)

Curious: When you guys trim the leaves away do you use them in any capacity or just toss them out?
I seem to remember buying large sacks of dried leaf for next to nothing many years ago....not very potent at all, but we'ed just smoke fat joints all day cig-style.

I have smoked plenty of leaf in my day... now I just toss it!

Also should I start backing off nutes or just carry on till I flush ? I'm guessing if I back off it will get worse as it pulls it own nutes out the leaves?

backing off the nutes of a finishing plant is what you want to do. however, the question seems to be, are they really finishing? it's hard to tell but consider the tricome production, I would probably feel like this is good enough and just back off the ferts, then nothing but water, let them die off, harvest. that's just my opinion cuz the truth is, I don't really know why your plants are yellowing. maybe there's a fert issue that took place in the past that created this tendency to yellow now. it's hard to say on such little info. there's a point where you have to determine if this is good enough and try to learn from it if you're not happy with the outcome.

Cheers polish .. I will learn from it , I just hope it lasts. I definitely think it was a past nute problem like you say but not a lot I can do now. Thanks man

I all so grow in strait coco you must feed them a lot more in coco. And start to lower ppm in the last 2 weeks of flowering this one is cookies kush week 5

I'm only adding 10ml rhizo to 20l, so about 0.5ml per ltr. The explode I added to bring the ec up without adding the a+b, my thoughts being it will contain more bloom nutes? Atm I'm only putting 40ml A, 40ml B, 10ml rhizo, 10ml cal-mag and 20ml explode all to 20ltrs of tap water. The a+b is half recommended strength.

lotta WRONG in this thread rofl..

you listen to NPK technologies? Me too :)

whats your run off EC and PH if you dump a couple gallons on one of them? i know this isnt ideal and kinda a pain to do and it interrupts the normal cycle but in this case i would for sure check it.. it will tell us a lot.

id be willing to bet your runoff is gonna be nice and HOT and the PH is gonna be out of the P or Mg zone.

ALSO the couple gallons you dump on the plant.... DO NOT ADJUST THE PH AT ALL. just check the PH before hand so you can figure out what your plants PH really is after you check the run off.

if you adjust the PH of FLUSH water you can have ph buffer build up and cause issues that way too.

Hi hgk thanks for the input mate.. I'm in an auto pot system and have been told to never flush a wick system? Basically because all the salts are supposed to come to the top. Also I have a scrog kinda thing going on so flushing wouldn't be ideal. I might just bang 50ltrs of plain PhD water through the res see if things improve?
