Advice Wise People Please

hi i need advice i want to start a grow in a few days i already have a 400watt light and i would like to grow some plants i also want to purchase another light and grow big bud so along with the 400 watt light what size light should i buy and how many big bud plants could i sew i have a large basment and a budget of around 500 sterling.

i would go with a 600 watt hps. that gives u 1k. i use a 1k cool tube and am growing nice buds hope this helps

If you are looking to just make cash you can use the 400 w light and grow 20 or 30 clones under it in a SOG method. You pretty much cut clones wait for roots then put them into flower. You will need a good momma and a sperate room to keep her in but you can produce a pound or more every 2-4 months depending on how long flowing period is. I would recommend going with a high quality Kush indica with a 6-8 week flower. I would spend the 500 on a 4x4 flood drain table and nutes and supplies (coco, rockwool, hydrometer, air pump, panda film.), some decent genetics, and a t5 floro for the momma plant.

I feel compelled to add that SOG method carrys with it big advantages as far as yeild and production go but many states have limits on the number of plants you can have and SOG method if done correctly will put you into a felony, pound you in the ass, prison for 15-20 years, category should you get caught.

If you are growing just to make money why not make as much money as you can doing it the most efficient way possible? Sure there will be a learning curve, but its not rocket surgery.

My advise is to do a grow with your 400w to get your feet wet first.
