Okay well ill start off this is my first time trying this. theres are all reggie seeds i got from weed...I have 7 seedlings all about 4 inch tall..then 4 smaller ones like 1 inc.. there inside the cabinet of my computer table..and no lie under a 9 watt light. What should i rlly do..or any1 know anythin that i can do 2 make this better..im quesing i should get a way better light. but when should i def do that cuz i have a 24 inc light holder for a 600 1000 whatevr watt light i need

Details would help, I dont think youve got what you need for an hps or mh, how much did it cost? You need a bulb(must be the same watt as the ballast, 400w bulb only in 400w ballast,) a reflector, a ballast and a mogul socket. Which of those do you have? and if its a metal halide or high pressure sodium matters too, only hps in hps ballast and only mh in mh ballast. unless you get a switchable ballast.

004.JPG006.JPG NEVERMIND I THINK ITS A 24 INC. i hadent seen it so i thought it was 32..looks mor eliek 24 but anyway yea..it has 3 plugs..all 3 plugs have switches on then..2 for the circle bulb and 1 for the other..and i dont remeber how much it ost me.. i use 2 ue it for my lizerd tank lol

oh man, im sorry to do this to you, but man, them plants look terrible, they are stretched extremely bad. You need more lighting and closer now. Those plants need to be re-potted into a bigger container, bury it so the soil is about 1-2 cm from the bottom leaves.

dame well.. is there anything i can do with that.i could of swore i saw pl grow some with flouresent lights. can i get a reg light in there..lower like 200 or 100n watt or somthing.. nd im not ganna be getting that huge thing lol..

you definately need better light. if you stick with cfl then get as many as possible without burning your plants up in there. 6 maybe. plus its not good for plants to share same potter, plus makes it hard to transplant em later. I run a 400w MH for 6 plants. Its all about lumens.

lumens is how bright the light is. cfl are the curly light bulbs. i would go with that unless you got some money to blow. if you keep em in there than you oughta get like 6 or so CFL in there and flower early because they get tall. maybe two will grow in there to be small. more than that is over crowded.

, If you still insist on using flouro tubes get t5's but i warn you they are just as exppensive as an hps pretty much. When you grow you get what you put into it, what would you rather do, invest some money and never have to buy overpriced shitty bud again cuz you got tons of killer nugs you grew or would you rather not invest some money into it and keep buying shitty weed for the rest of your life? its a investment that will pay for itself many many times over. So the choice is yours, do you want to get serious? I can help you figure it all out but if your not gonna take it seriously your not gonna get much from it.

Beleave me i know what u mean..but i rlly dont have the money for that right now.. maybe i could get the 150... but cant i just buy a bulb for the holder i have now??

and on that website they sell the flour tubes.. i see alot.. what is the best 1 u think i hould get..ther eonlu like 12-20 bucks a light

i think you need to worry about space, thats not much space to do what your wanting plus nobody mentioned......you need good air circulation and ventilation. you need a better grow area. ive seen people grow in rubbermaid tubbs with CFLs. venting is important...just as much as lights. you need to get a gameplan together and a list of needed supplies. so lets start with

1. better lighting of your choice.
2. ventilation--exaust and intake
3. fan to blow at plants.

thats a start...

Okay i have a fan.... Im willing to move them in2 my closest which has 2 huge doors and can stay open. i have very good air circulation in my room.. the closet is big... im just ganna drive to home depot or a plant store for the light

ok, im a closet grower too and am also a newb. this is my first grow and ive probably been through every problem possible except spider mites "knock on wood".
we can chat all night about all different stuff. but heres some must haves.

Inbound air flow from outside source, opening doors aint good enough because plants need rest and complete dark for flowering.
outbound air to prevent air from buiding up causing high temps or humidity issues. (usually ran to outside using some dryer vent duct.
better lights.

thats bout it to begin......see my other posts with pics of closet grow.
