aero garden

so my buddy and i have an aero garden set up, its lookin pretty good for iour first time, i was reading some threads on water temp and was wondering how dry ice would be to put in the resiviour, because it would deffinatly cool the water down and also give off CO2, but would it carbonate the water and kill the roots??? does anyone know anything about this

you only want o2 in the water co2 is for leaves dont thing dry ice be a good idea to much vaporour gases
