I need some help here guys.. I need to buy some nutes for my aerogarden and I am torn in between which ones work the best! The aerogarden web site sells there 1 quart of nutes ( from what I read the all the nutes do is get you to the flowering stage faster, that's about it) , fox farm has the trio, there is the flora series, Technaflora has there recipe for success and many other variations of nutes out there. Any insight would help..
Thanks

Pryapsm: Technaflora's sample kit was what they hooked me with. All you need is a set of measuring spoons t o mix it in a gallon jug and a pH correction kit. In an Aerogarden with the little reservoir they last a long time.

Is there much difference between fox farms trio and hydro flora? They both look to have the same nutrients. Flora = FloraBloom, Floragro, and FloraMicro. Fox farm = Big Bloom, Grow Big and Tiger Bloom.

Well im using only the floraMicro and floraBloom. Im not using gro because micro is already carrying the trace elements that are in gro. Im not sure about Fox farm though as i have never used it.. Ive heard good things from their soils though, so im sure you'd get your moneys worth. I like Gh's nutrient selection but i may also try Advanced Nutrients Big bud next grow and see how it does.. :D

Pryapsm: If you take a close look at Technaflora's "Recipe for Success," I think you'll find that it's all your plants will need from seedling to harvest. I think most people are intimidated by the very thought of having to mix a formula but you'll only need a set of measuring spoons to mix it in a gallon jug. It really couldn't be simpler. I think all the brands are probably good but some seem to be accompanied by problems when they're used to cultivate our magic herb. For Aerogardens I was taught: stay away from dry nutes and change them weekly. So far it proved to be good advice.
