I have a AG Deluxe, 3 extra 27w CFLs, going 22/2, for 2 weeks. Had nute burn but the other leaves sprouting seem healthy. I'm growing 5 Lowryder 2s and here are some of my questions.
1. I have the 24 hour light on and then my timers for the lights. Now, am I supposed to have the setting on one of them strawberry/herbs, etc setting as well? People talk of a pump, what pump? You mean the water flowing into the sponge?
2. Should I include some warm/red spectrum lights for vegging?
3. How long do I veg for? I'm thinking 4 weeks before I put the Lowryders under 400 HPs lights?
4. When putting nutes in, let's say that the water is below the line, do I mix the nutes in a 1/2 gallon or 1 gallon jug, then top off, little by little? I have the foxfarm series (3 of them).
5. How do I tell how much "k" my bulbs have. If I have the stock 3 AG lights plus 3 27w white lights?
