I was gifted one of these contraptions this year, all in all it seems to be pretty legit but I hit a big snag but came up with a great way to fix it so I thought I'd share. I acquired one of the "Pro" models so it has this strange timer setup so you can run lights 24 hours or something ridiculous like 18-6. I plan to use it for single cola budsicles so it would be perfect. The problem is figuring out how to get it on 12-12, the instructions say just to put it on 24 and use a light timer but the light timer will turn your pump off too hence the problem. The holders for the sponges are held out of the water and it trickles down into them. I knew the plugin for the light looked familiar from somewhere and then it hit me. It's the same plugin as a PS2/XBOX power cable. It's shaped like a figure 8 so I tried it thinking it couldn't hurt anything, but lo and behold it works perfect.

I figured you were one of the random haters that fill this place too dense to give it a try instead of bashing on it. Do you use any veg time at all in the AG? From all I've read about it, they seem to outgrow it very very fast so I don't think I'll do any veg time at all on my clones I put in and just go straight into 12/12 to let them get their veg time in before they show flowers. The strain takes about two weeks to show flowers from the time it's switched over to 12/12 so would this be a good idea? She'll grow to be a giant if left to her own accord.

Also what stock parts are you still using?

you want answers , Go to the Hydro / aero section, roll up a fatty and read for two or three hrs .. Then ask away if you have any ..

Nah Not at all.. But all the questions he was asking IF he had done some research at all he would know .. I answer almost all questions ,, No problem,, But If I came off snobby well Im sorry ,, By the way ,,I am drinking .. Ill just fade back into the corner ....

The only thing you get in the Hydro section when you mention an AG is trolls. Just another elitist I see, no biggie. E-thugz4lyfe

You should veg the clones at 18/6 under a few cfls for 10-14 days and then put them in the aerogarden under 12/12. Once they're in the AG, they will grow like veg for two weeks and then start to flower. Good luck and merry christmas.

The clones have already rooted. They've been in my clonebox a few days rooting in a bubble bucket made from a plastic chinese food container. So would be good to go into 12/12 with them?
