aerogardeners help!!

whats goin on guys, i am wrapping up my second aerogarden grow in my classic six, i have a couple questions regarding my next grow.

i was wondering how to use expanded clay pellets in an aerogarden, should i use jiffy pots? i am definitely at a loss here.

also, would anyone advise using anything over the clay pellets? i was thinking of going with rockwool, but heard it would be too absorbent for the constant drip system the aerogarden uses.

and my main question is, can you set the light timer to 12/12, or do i need to buy a timer with my non existent cash stash
