Aeroponics vs Soil start up costs?

Looking to start my first grow and I have buddies who do both Aero and Soil. They both are trying to convince me to do their methods but I don't want to choose the wrong one.

What would it cost to get completely set up for 6 plants to produce as much per cycle as possible.
Can anybody give me a pros and cons list?
Can anyone recommend equipment, nutrients, and seedbanks

ALSO.
SHOULD I TRY AUTOFLOWER

Don't waste your time on autpflowers cause if you get a killer strain good luck trying to get clones that won't flip. As far as aero, skip it unless you have a horticulture background or you like to clean alot. Pyrithum tends to be a problem unless you can keep water Temps under 60 with a chiller, bUT frim the sounds of it, your going the cheaper route. Or your running hydrogen peroxide, but then that suggests that you're not running benifcials. Soil or coco is most forgiving for newbie growers I've noticed. Where as aero you can kill an entire garden in 12 hrs without proper attention. As far as costs, it depends on your pot size, what wattage your going an your nutrient line up. Roughly for me, on a 12 plant 1k set up for the 3 months of flower&veg time I'm looking at about 400$ in electricity, nutes, coco, but you will need to factor in cost of ballast an lights an hoods, ac unit and blowers, filters if your starting from scratch. If you got questions hopefully I'll be around to answer them. Lol
Good luck.
