Yes, potassium silicate as powder. Is it potassium silicate?
I found a few suppliers under lab chemical supplies.Yes, potassium silicate as powder.
Yeah, I've contacted few companies.I found a few suppliers under lab chemical supplies.
Still expensive though.
Well I'm not in Europe anymore but certainly doesn't seem easy to find, bar expensive liquids with silly labels..Yeah, I've contacted few companies.
Other hadn't heard of the product and other said it doesn't belong in their European selection.
Offseason for me, so got time to source it. Hopefully fellow european would have found it somewhere.
I wonder if @husita might know?Well I'm not in Europe anymore but certainly doesn't seem easy to find, bar expensive liquids with silly labels..
But alibaba did bring up very cheap options. How reliable the quoted prices and how tricky it is to import I couldn't tell ya.
I actually own about 1/8 of laboratory for drinking watter, but never needed this stuff.I wonder if @husita might know?
Hmm, would the AEROSIL work as silicon source for plants?I actually own about 1/8 of laboratory for drinking watter, but never needed this stuff.
Could be this what you are looking for?

Really not sure if this is right for you. It´s used in cosmetics, toothpastes, medicin, pigments, cat WC!, making colours,...Hmm, would the AEROSIL work as silicon source for plants?
Tho I'm not a chemist enough to know what the KOH below does.
"First, if using a solid, you need to prepare a stock solution no more concentrated than 45g/L. The recommendation with AgSil 16H would be to prepare a stock solution at 15g/gal and then using this solution at a rate of 38mL/gal of final solution (injection rate of 1%). To increase the stability of your AgSil 16H concentrate you can add 1g/gal of KOH. The end addition to your solution will be +9.8ppm of Si as elemental Si and +11.55ppm of K. The KOH addition and low 15g/gal concentration ensures that silicate will already be largely present as monomeric silicate anions. "
Google wouldn't translate from Czech
But gives me hope that it is out there, just gotta figure out on what language to search

Refresh it and look toward the top of the page you should see Czech English tab. I just click english and get it.Hmm, would the AEROSIL work as silicon source for plants?

Here's the deep dive that might help you help him. But you glancing at this might give you a better idea of the agricultural product he's hunting for. Also a good read if you need to add Si. I sent my water out for analysis and found I have enough Si in it. So my looking at Impello Dune or Alchemist Stout ended there.Really not sure if this is right for you. Look at the density, only 50 kg/m3, I would be very carefull working with the stuff, it will be everywhere.
It´s made in Germany, Evonic. Hope german suits better to you.
How about that CARBON Si? Seems usable.
Thank you. Never used silica fertilizer, my only knowlidge is from this article, in Czech. Its about fertilizing barley in agriculture size, transate it if you like. Here's the deep dive that might help you help him.
