air cooled light question

ok so im running two regular reflectors 600watts in a 10x10 room with an ac the tepms stay ok but the portable ac is old school so it runs 1500w. way too much for me. so i have to options. get a newer more energy efficient ac probably the most expensive rout? or converting the reflectors to air cooled? i live in a warm area so right now its like 95 plus mid summer then cools down to like 60-75 during the rest of the year. What do you guys think my temps would be in the rooms given the outside conditions? i do have a central ac i can run frequently. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks
