Air Pumps self reversed

My air pumps have began to push air OUT of the intake. This has been a gradual process and they have all went from putting out strong bubbles, to wasting air, since it is now being forced out on both ends.

Is this common? Do I need to do routine maintenance on these things? They are only a couple of months old.

Thanks

have you tried replacing the diaphram?

if so then it is probably a bad pump.

wow.. if they went bad THAT fast, then what a waste. I've only had them for 1 or 2 months. Kept a fan blowing on them to keep them cool as well. One is really blowing air out of the wrong side and the other is not far behind. Cheap ass crap

i know thats really weird, thats like a 50 dollar pump, i'm pretty sure mine were only like 25 bucks/set of 2, and i am running 6 in the same res.
they each have dual outputs
and work fine.
