may sound a bit paranoia-ish... is there any reason to worry about carrying with me backed good, cookies & brownies (special of course). and even cannabutter in sandwiches?? thanks. im planning to quite literally go up really really high.

I would assume baked goods pose the same problem as carrying cannabis.

If a dog smells your bag they will smell that also.
I would think.
But since its food It might throw security off
Never tried but I have thought of this too.

I would say...as long as it's not an international flight, where drug sniffing dogs might be about, you should be okay. I doubt they have instruments to detect THC.

However, I took a cpap machine, for sleep apnea (the size of a small coffee pot) thru security. They rubbed pads on it, then put them into some machine. My guess is, they were looking for gunpowder residue.

If you want some peace of mind, do a trial run with non-pot-laced brownies. Another suggestion would be to hang out somewhere near the airport where flight attendants frequent. Perhaps during conversation, they might help...and maybe you'll get a piece of ass too.

A similar subject was discussed some time ago on a local radio morning show. They wondered aloud, why couldn't I bring a sub sandwich, or a bucket of chicken on my flight? The answer was yes you could, bring whatever food you wanted.

The other factor is "profiling." If you look like a stoner or a smuggler, then I wouldn't chance it. If you look like a dad or a nerd, go for it.

Good luck... And, that is actually a good idea. Beats the risk of carrying doobies thru security.
