AK-47

Hey guys, I have a few concerns about this strain in particular and i hope some of the pros here can give me some advise. Im thinking on buying some ak47 seeds but i've noticed that the original seeds from serious seeds are F1 Hybrids... I don't know much about breeding, but for what i've read F1 Hybrids are sold this way because they have "vigor" and future generation DO NOT carry this "vigor" have anyone here has got some ak47 seeds and sex them to get more seeds? or used an ak47 plant to breed a new strain?
I have all this questions because im starting a breading program to learn a little bit more about the subject, but i wanted to get some powerful strains like this one, for sure the seeds carry very powerful genetics but is it worth it to stabilize the strain and get the ak47 without the F1 vigor?

even with the vigor, they are controllable and good stature.

You might wanna checkout female seeds or pyramid seeds. Imo serious ain't what it once was.

you lack of knowledge is your undoing here, some further study is required

currently there are about 93 differing(not different) strains on the market

Vigor is a major factor that I breed for, all plants grown from seed show this

its not an F1, an F1 is the result of a mating between 2 phenos/strains

many who grow from clones don't know of the vigor or vitality factor

the deal with vitality is to get a seedling to 12 inches high in less than 2 weeks, 10 days is normal

to that of a cutting/clone, it takes 10-14 days to grow roots in my bubble cloner

so the choice weather to clone or grow from seed, is minimal,

it takes both seed and clone 10 days to get to 12 inches ...thats the aim

vigor is passed on naturally seed to seed, not with clones they have none

with Serious Seeds, a great breeder, you need to ask

this is an old 90's strain and they are still selling F1's ...?

it would be F12 - F18 by now ....lol

Look to their Bubble Gum for some great flavor as theirs too much

Sativa in Serious blend of the ak47, although ideal stoner material, it would be difficult for a newbie to finish

but you won't so post a pic to prove me wrong .....lol
