AK-48 Taste???

Question 1:

I've heard plenty of great things about AK-48. The only question I have now is on the taste.

I've read that many are dissapointed in the taste and others that said it taste fine.

In my experience, unless it was dirty regs I've never really smoked good/dank bud that I didn't like the taste of

Question 2:

If there is dank bud that doesn't taste good or like you think it could, what might explain that . . . "not so good tasting dank"?

yea, i love it

I grew out AK-48 from Nirvana and it was not bad at all! The pheno I ended up with was very Sativa dominant, long thin leaves alot of spacing between bud sites and small overall budz. It is NOT that big of a yielder, unfortunately. BUT the high, aroma and taste were very nice. Kind of a grapefruity/citrus type smell but different...

Serious seeds ak-47 is the real deal, i havent tried growing any of the knock-of Ak strains. I got great yields and the buds were good sized. I grew it for 4 grows.

No offense.. but that can be a little misleading depending of the circumstances of your grow. Not saying you don't know what you were doing, but many things can contribute to the attributes of your plant. So not cool to bash a reputable vendor, with reputable products like that Just sayin meng

True enough, but not ALL strains are genetically designed to create massive buds, no matter HOW you grow them. The starting genetics of any plant are the base you have to work with. And while the buds were overall smaller than any of the others I have grown out, they were not the worst either. Here's some pics of my AK-48 from a few harvests ago. Yeah, I can grow that.
