AK47 First Hydro grow FLORA brand nutes

Decided to give away all of the clones and other potted plants to a friend of mine that has a 1000 watt hps he said he would cut me some yield!

Anyway, I still have this AK47 plant growing in my waterfarm drip system that is growing sooo fast it's crazy how much faster it grows than my previous soil grow!

Here's what I'm using

- Flora series nutrients
- Superthrive vitamins and hormones
- Snowstorm (Flowering)
- Tiger Bloom

I also just got a pH kit and a PPM meter.

I am using about 210 watts of CFL until I can get two more 40 watts.

Here are pics it's about a week and 2 days from sprout.





*ALSO* This is my first time using a PPM meter what should my readings be now for a plant this size and strain?

I'm not sure if you've grow this before but I found it to be more sensitive to nutes than my other strains.

Ok right now I am using 7.5 mL of flora grow, and 3.5 of the other two in the series. It says I am supposed to do 10 mL , 5 mL , and 5 mL, so I figures that using a few mL less wouldn't hurt I would just kick it up if it could handle!

by the way that is PER GALLON and I have a 2 gallon resevoir.. so I guess that's 15, 7, 7.

my ppm is about 630 right now...is that somewhere in the ballpark for a good measurment?

Mine did great in veg and you're off to a fine start. But after a few weeks in flower, I fried them with the nutes my other strains handle with ease. I'm not saying this will be the case with every AK grown, but just something for you to keep in mind. My next round with them, I'm going with half strength all the way through.

ok I added 1/2 teaspoon of superthrive and the plant just grew 6 inches!!

does anybody know why my ph keeps shooting up? it's going from like 5.8 when I balance it after nutes all the way to 6.5-7 when I check it 6 hours later

Significant fluctuations in pH in a short period of time in hydro is not unheard of. If this occurs frequently I would be concerned with the water source. I have experienced spikes in pH of water several times with consistency using well water. Ironically the most stable source of water I have found is tap water, from the cities water source.

Next time you do a rez drain and replenish try using a different source of water and see if that helps you stabilize the pH. Always remember to pH balance after the nutes have been added. That was a noob mistake that I made for a while until I read and was told that you are supposed to balance pH after nutes are added. Hope this helped.

I check my ph after I mix my nutrients, I plan on changing the res ever 7 days

I bought some new cfl bulbs today. I was using the 42 watt 2700k bulbs when I found out today that 6400k is what I need. so I just went out and bought 6 26watt daylight cfl bulbs, each one with 1600 lumens.

it cost me about 15 bucks because I already have the y sockets and the cords and if my math is right Ive got about 9,600 lumens!

this should be good right for a plant my size?

how big of a plant could i grow if....

- I had 350 watts of CFL on it
- Vegged for 2 months
- FIMmed and supercropped
-and use the snowstorm nutes and tigerbloom for flowering?



plant is getting a little yellow on the leaves...anyone know whats up?

come on guys nothing?

I would like to know how to fix that problem before it gets worse!

Also I now have 280 watts of CFL in my grow room at the moment, when I get another lamp cord I will add another 42 watt to make it 320 watts of CFL.



6x26w at 1600 lumens each
3x42w at 2720 lumens each

riu is dissapointing ne I posted in the help section and twice in a row on this forum and I have gottten no response..

I think it was going thru light burn they were too close and it was alot for the baby the shoots were even growing out burnt

my ph and ppm were fine so I knew it was that they cleared up in 6 hours looking more green and not wilty
