So i planted a single ak48 outside in a spot on my garden inside a pot set in the ground under my auto watering for my garden with the intent of replanting it somewhere much more secure. Well after checking on the root situation i found that the roots have busted through the pot and are now in the ground itself. The stem is about an inch or more thick and the plant itself is around 46 inches high from the soil, pretty bushy too.
I am afraid that the plant will get too big. It shows signs of pre flowering but no bud sites yet, so i fear it may go through the typical growth spurt soon and double in size. Does anyone know how much ak48 stretches during flowering? It is the nirvana strain btw, and out of a decent batch this one seems to be the most common phenotype and matches descriptions.
Myself and my fiancee both have legitamate medical licenses, but it is still very spooky. I mean at this rate the plant could finish over 8 feet and bushy too. It already sticks out like a sore thumb and i cant think of what vegetation would be able to disguise it.
My theoretical options are;
1. Plant emerald abrogate tree/shrubs to create a wall on the northern most side, blocking most of the concerned area. The problem is they would look out of place just in a line at a random spot on on my property. Maybe leave them potted as large movable container plants, though keep in mind they are about 7 feet tall.
2. Buy a harbor freight greenhouse and replant the plant inside it in a slightly better location. The one I am looking at is 8feet tall and wide enough for many more plants(though to remain legal this would be the only plant inside it). The foggy glass would make it difficult to see exactly what is inside. The problem here is I am not quite the garden master. I do have grapes and roses and some other fun edible plants, but i still think i would look out of place with a greenhouse in my yard. I could expand my current garden to better justify the look of a greenhouse. The other concern is uprooting the plant and transplanting, would it be too much on the plant?
3. Again dig up the plant and transplant it somewhere off property somewhere safe. This would entail disrupting the roots and transporting a pretty large plant in a generally small car.
4. Digging up the plant and transplanting it into an indoor room. Doubling in size or even close i would run out of height, could i still scrog it or is it too late for that? The only free lit i would have would be a 400w CMH or maybe a 600hps with an additional 180w led(a nice quality one). Screened it could be enough do get a little, but i see a lot of waste with this. Perhaps flowering the best i can with super cropping and/or lst the top, flowering the top half and just harvesting what is ready as it is ready?
5. Chop her down or donate it to a dispensary that can giver her a good life.
6. A variation on the greenhouse idea, dig a pit and make a cold side(cant remember the name) greenhouse. Much smaller than a real greenouse and mostly below ground. But very labor intensive.
Thank you all very much for your ideas and help.
EDIT here is a pic of the plant at the most clear angle. Most angles are obscured by the rose bush and these long weedlike plants that have sprung up fast that i will need to chop down soon but have been using as cover. The camera picture is taken from the north and the plant is about 50 feet from the street.
I edited the pic to hide any location clues.
