It's worth mentioning that the longer leads to put the driver outside are only £4/5 but around £30 for delivery, if was buying another I'd buy 2 extensions one for the one I have and one for the 2nd one, I'm unlikely to need them but they are cheap enough to warrant just having imo.

I thought the same until I realized I needed the heat put off by the drivers in my tent, it helps alot. You want around 80 degrees under LED

Yes I've only a single 240w, I bought specifically for vegging with, 4k+IR, if I used more, I personally would plug 2/3 into a 4 plug extension then use a single relay timer to run them with no concerns it's less than a 1kw.

If i had lots of them then daisy chain would be a handy feature.

It's astonishing that so much light can come from 240w of power...
Unfortunately its just to cold for me to use economically :-(
Maybe when warmer :-)

Smart as hell. Hook em both to an extension and hook the extension to a timer. But right now its winter where I'm at and the mh/hps heat is perfect for my tent but I also have a heater hooked up to an inkbird for when it gets too cold

Yes u most def don't want timers for every device, but put the splitter in the timer.

Running 6x 240w alibaba qb, 3x in each splitter using two timers with on/off 1 min apart(really not necessary but can't hurt).
I have no issue keeping things warm during lights on, even with - 20°c outside(14°c in the room I pull air from). Every 5 minutes my exhaust kicks in(goes from 15% to 100% when temp limit reached).

My fan has temp control built in. Set target max temp and everything above it goes 100%, no matter what Ur current speed is set at. Does this answer Ur question? :)

I also thought a arduino was some sort of controller lol.

I've taken taps from my variac and wired them through a selector switch then into a dual relay so I can select the idle speed and the cooling speed, it's relatively simple to do if your handy with electric, it cost me about £70 for the variac, relay and a 4 point/setting selector switch.
Stc 1000/1038 relays.

So u can have 4 different speeds, one at each set degree?
