I currently have two set ups going. One being my clones, 12 plants in 1 gallon grow bags with 4 cups set on top, to the side of a few plants. They sadly live under 4 cfls due to tough money times.
That picture doesn't have the cups, but they are usually sitting on a few bags in between plants. The 4 cfls hang inside a rather large metal dome reflecting all light down. This is in the bottom of my closet where clothes hang above the dome and i usually have the door closed to keep in as much light as possible.
Not even 3 feet from my closet door I have my homemade tent. This has 6, 5 gallon pots with my girls that are just now entering week 8 of flowering. They are under a 600 watt high pressure sodium light. They have a problem all their own meant for a nutrient forum.
This picture is from before the nutrient problem. The closet is directly to the left in the picture.
Now to the problem. In my clones area I have been having a small fungus gnat problem, I have been slowly poisoning them off. Somehow I have managed to keep my flowers gnat free. Today I opened my closet to check on my clones and noticed a couple dead gnats on the leafs of my plants. -_- Then I saw all of the white spots on my leafs and a couple tiny webs the gnats were dead in. I turned over a bunch of leafs, some clear, some...how did it get this bad?! This wasn't there yesterday I have no idea where they came from.
I took scissors and cut off all of the really damaged or infested leafs, throwing them directly into a trash bag to contain it. They are still there though, and as much as I appreciate the fungus gnat help I do not want anything to do with spider mites. I have $0.00 to my name, how do I contain this and destroy it before it spreads to my girls that are so very close to being done after so much work?!?
