All ABOARD the "Qrazy Train"

On the 24th of Febuary I took 5 of the 10 seeds and placed them directly into rapid rooters and on the 3rd and 4th day all 5 seeds sprouted.
They have since been poted into 3" containers and were placed under my 200 wat CFL where they will be nurtured for 3-4 weeks.
For soil I am using Miracle Grow with extra Perlite added to the mix.Plants will be fed using Advance Nutrients Organic lines.

Well the kids are 10 days old now and are off to a good start.The 2 slightly smaller plants are 8-9 days old so they aren't far behind
I gave them there 1st feeding 3 days ago and they took to it very well.
In another 2 weeks they will need repoting I am sure of that judging by how they are doing so far.

For food I use Advance Nutrients Organic lines.I have been working with it for a couple of years now and have come to like it very much.I alway get excellent trichome production of some of the frostiest buds around and I know my pals sure like it lol

The 1st weeks recipie goes like this
Mix pr 1 l of water

.75 mm Fulvic F1
.75 mm Humic H2
2.5 mm Sensizyme
1.5 mm Seaweed Extract
1.5 mm B-52
.25 mm Superthrive
1 mm Iguana Juice - Grow
Ph was adjusted to 6.6

Plants are still under my 200 watt CFL until I repot them in aprox 2 weeks.

Well,its been 10 days since I had repoted the kids to their new home.
Every thing is right on cue and they didn't even miss a heart beat since the repot.They just kept on roll n' alng.

All plants look virtualy the same.The only 1 that seems a bit different is #5 whitch appears to still have a little quirkil left in him or her.He/she is also a bit aller than the rest.I have a sneaky hunch this one is a male.
Call it men's intuition if you like.

They all seem to look more 50/50 Sativa/Indica.Oh yea,the only other dif I can see at the moment is in the serations of the leaves between them.There are a couple that have a more rounded shape to the serations ant the others are more sharper/pointy looking.

Thought it was about time for an update.
All the kids have been repoted to their finnal containers which are 4 gal(aprox 16 l)

I mixed up a batch of soil because I am not impressed with the M.G soil mix I started with.Here's what I did.
(2) 25 l bags of Alltreat All Purpose potting soil, (1) 30 l bag of Green earth Premium Compost,1/2 of a 35 l bag of proMix Outddor soil mix,32 l of Perlite.
The mix has a nice feel to it now and we'll see how it works out for me.I can allways feed with A.N. nutes if need be.

All plants are looking gorgess at the moment.Looks like I have a (2) Querkle dom pheno's,(1) Space Queen dom pheno and (2) 50/50 mix pheno's.

Plants #3 & 5 are confirmed as fems.I am still waiting on the rest for sexual preferences.I should know in the next week or two as to who is what.
Once they are sexed and at least one more week of veg I will be introducing them to the Bud Room

This plant looks very sat dom in structure but the leaves are a 50/50 mix of Ind./sat.It has 6 main branches that are growing out ward and was topped once.I have a sneaky hunch this one might be male though.Superb looking bush style plant though.






Plant #2

This is the one that looks to be a bit more Space Queen dom.Her spacing isn't quite as tight as all the other plants and he/she is also taller than every one else.Leaves are a bit slimmer as well.

Beautifull structure for being topped once with 4 nice main branches.Nodes are tight yet she looks Like a nice 50/50 mix of both parents.You noticed I said she ?Confirmed female and will be placed in bloom in 7-10 days from now maybe even sooner.
Sad to say I only snapped one pic of her.Must of had something to do with the bubble I smoked before I did the shoot !

This one is Querkle dominate with tight nodel spacing.leaves are beefier too with edges that remind me of a rip saw blade.If you look closely you can see it has some double searated leaf edges.I think it might be a C 99 traint if memory serves me correctly.
Don't know if its a boy or girl ( yet ).






Lastly plant #5

She also looks be be Querkle dom with tight spacing etc.






On a final note.
I had repoted the kids last Suday and did the pic shoot this past Monday.
As of today the growth rate has exploded so I will more than likely place them to the bud room this weekend.

Good evening ladies & gentalmen

Today is the 7th day the kids have been in the bloom room.They were placed there on their 60th day and 2 of the kids were inentified as girls.I can now confirm 3 girls and 2 boys.
Tonight I will high lite the boys.Both the guys look like realy good candites for potentional fertilization but alas,I don't keep males.
There is 1 Qurkil dominate and 1 50/50 mix of both parents.
Lets start with the Qurkel dom pheno 1st.he is quite the stud with super strong stems and tight nodel spacing.Stretch hasn't even been an issue so far.Large fan leaves and branches that are staying close to the main trunk.At 7 days they are showing early signs of resin.lets have a look.

This 1st picture is the female(left) and the male on the right.These are the Qurkel dom. pheno's.Both look prety much identical in size and shape.


Now for the Stud.He stands about 3' (1 meter) tall

Next up is our 50/50 mix of both parents.They look very similar to the Qurkel with the exception the nodel spacing is a little bit longer in between.

Here are the females.It looks like I have 3 variations of females.There is 1 that is Qurkel dominate,1 50/50 mix of both parents and 1 leaning towards the Train Wreck which apears to be sat dominate.

The T.W. plant had stretched the most at 3x where as the other 2 plants were only about 2 times.I would let the 50/50 and the Qurkel veg for a couple extra weeks next time around.Mine were 8 weeks at the onset of bloom.

Lets look at the sat pheno 1st.
leaves are more slender than their her sisters.Her branches tend to stretch in an out ward fashion with a good amout of spacing between th nodes.

Here is a look at the 50/50 girl.Node spacing is real sweet with a little more spacing than our Qurkel version which is super tight lol.She is a lovely round bush stlye with 4 main branches from being topped once.
Branches are super strong and sturdy so she should produce some dense buddage in all due time .

By the way,these ar on day 9 from 12/12.Bud formation is seting in realy fast.

the Qurk. dom. female of the bunch.

her leaves are 25% broader and she is 1 sqaut lady.She leans towards the Indica side of the family 4 sure.Nodes are super tight and exteremly strong looking.Branches are staying tight to the main trunks with exception to the lowest branches.

All were fed week 2 formula on day 7 of 12/12

1st up is the Train Wreck dom. pheno.She's sativa dominate with long pointy buds.At 28 days she is already dripping in resin.Her aroma is Champagne like with fruity tones and I detect a hint of Lemon in her.

Here we have the Querkel dominate pheno.

This gal is short and stocky.Stretch was 2x at most.From the looks of her she is gona put on some weight.her buds are twice the size(almost) of the other 2 pheno's.
With lots of THC and aroma's reminiscent of a nice bubbly Champagne

and lastly the 50/50 mix pheno.

She is a lil taller than the Q. dom and also a tad bushier.Her flower's are Querkel dom as well.Node spacing is a tad more than the Q. dom as well.Her aroma is also reminiscent of a fruity Champagne.

ocan, you know how many days on average the qwerkle flowers for? i have found conflicting info. should they finish in under 60 days?

On average its 60-70 days.You can cut her at 55 days and get a bit more up high and the longer you leave her it becomes more couch lock.Some peeps will let em go to 75 days.Also between 60 to 70 days they will bulk up more but also at the same time the aroma's might start to fade.Its realy a matter of preference.
