Hey this is my 1st post, and hoping for people input in to my design for my mother plant/ veg/ cloning, my grow spaces is 100cm heigh width 80cm depth 48 (chest of drawers) I am going use nft gt205 with t5 (2ft 4 tube) and a rhino hobby filter kit 100x300, do you all think the set-up will work?

change out the T5 lights for LEDs .......lower heat and more light power (better plant more yield)
yes it cost a little more but the run time on the light and the power it offers u will be much happier then with 4 2ft t5 (the lumen power from 2 foot 4 bulbs t5 is only 20000 that is just above the minimal amount of light for a good plant ) i own a 8 bulb 2ft t5s ....the only thing i use it for is starting the plants after about 5/7 days they are moved to under a LED


4 other things ......u sound like this is new to u so to help u make it simpler and less likey to mess up
1 order yourself the Go Box from amazon (it is a all in one feed line the whole kit is one buy for 40 bucks) ....it is organic feed so u do not need to worry about PHing or flushing
2 order yourself some Auto flowering seeds........they remove the whole light timing issue lets u just work on feeding skills
3 the soil look at roots organic or fox farm ocean forest or black gold organic
4 the planters u use i like the soil bags they air prune over watering them is nearly impossible


your growing in a small area so 3 gallon soil bags would be good for u

well it depends on the strain u are growing ...........if u got Photo we should find u a light that can do both Veggie and flowering ........if u are going with auto flowers u can use a all in one light
running your numbers ........a 300w would do u just fine

ok LED is a investment ..........they cost more then the HID or the T5s but they last longer then those bulbs ..........doing the math with auto plants on a 20/4 time can grow me 48 rounds (2months is a round) 5.6 years of time with the 50k use life ..........i save money on replacement bulbs and some money on energy (power drawl on a led is about 50/60% of what the light is rated so a 300 w is like 175 watts 180 )

a good LED light i like the matrix s ......this one would be a 600w it is stronger then what u need but if u upped your size it can do a 4x4x6 tent great does a 5x5x6 tent nice

this is the marker not a retailer if u want a quote on a price write them and ask them ......little box on the left side as u scroll down (u have to have scripts running) order from them it is cheaper then buying this model in the stores u save a good amount of money even paying for the shipping and import taxes
this light is the one i would tell u to get if u are planning to run photo plants some time in the next 5 years

if u are doing autos this light will do u well

Width: 48cm = 18.9 in
Height 100cm = 39.4 in

or about 4 sqft.

Ideal lighting is about 31k lumens. The plant won't care if they came from LED or T5 if temps stay within good range. If you go LED just make sure you do your homework. Too many way overpriced LED options out there, very easy to get suckered.

again buddy it depends on what strains u are going to do
if u do photo u need a light that does both Blue for growth and Red for flowering ...i am talking a switch or something that flips them or a mode in the light

looks to be the better one it has a veggie mode and flowering mode so u are able to do any thing u want with that like auto/photo
