Almost Done!! Maybe... (pics)

Ok, so my grow is coming along nicely. I have a few questions. BY APPEARENCE, does it look like it could be ready in two weeks? I was going to flush it for a week before chopping. Ive heard mixed reviews on flushing.
Also, can someone elaborate on what an amber tric looks like? My scope has a cool white LED light and I feel it may be messing with what amber apears. Plus my CFLs are 2700k so that also gives it a orangeish look as well.
Heres some pics. Before you comment on what ive done, please understand this was my first grow, and I learned all the training techniques late. As well as I never de foliated my bottom so Ill be getting more than enough popcorn buds.

And also note that the pics are DARKER than it actually is. But I also know my lighting on the lower half is a little weak.

Day 35 of flower, or 5th week. was thinking it would be around 7-8 weeks.

Yea, I know I need more lights. But I probably wont add more. Would it even make a difference this far along??

Trichome development.. is it fast? How is a good way of judging when i can flush and the status of my trics?

I want to flush for the final week. Any comments? Pointless? DWC running CNS17 nutes.

1) Amber trichomes look exactly like what they sound like...Amber.

Take your plant out into regular white light or daylight and look at trichs all over the plant with your scope.

Your plant based on looks alone has atleast another 30 days,maybe longer.

Thanks!! After posting, I did a search on amber tric's. Yea not there yet. I vegged to 12" and after it hit flower, it rocketed to 42" before I was forced to supercrop the colas. 8 weeks is April 1st. 20 days away. So Im still hoping itll be around that time. I wont chop it if shes not ready. But heres to hoping. Its been a fun trip. And im anxious to dry and cure.

Hard to tell from your pics. Do you know the strain and when your counting days in flower you did not count the first week as your flowering time actually starts as day 8 is day 1 flower

By thw stretch you just mentioned, you either have a Sativa or a heavily Sativa leaning hybrid.

Indicas and heavily leaning Indica hybrids typically stretch 2x to 3x their initial height after flowering is induced.Sativas and heavily.leaning Sativa hybrids typically stretch 3x to 5x their initial height once flowering is induced.

I say start checking the trichpmes weeks 6,7,8 and if still not ready check.during weeks 9 and 10 and 11

Yea the pics suck. I was too lazy to set the camera correctly. I know, sorry guys. But yes I am considering that, it is a bagseed. So yep, im running blind here. And yes, it took a week to flower, and that's not part of the 5 weeks its been in.

Im really just trying to find a good thing to look for so I can flush, I dont want to flush at 50% amber because in a week when I harvest, where will they be then? You know?

I learned it was a heavier sativa hybrid when it shot up in size. It doesnt look 100% though. Just got my scope last weekend so im addicted to looking. Ill give it a break for a week. lol

Flowering starts as soon as you flip to 12/12,not a week after.

Really? I was under the assumption when you start to see pistil development.... I just had some pre flowers.

Well for right now Im using these.... but with my savings from not buying MJ anymore I already told myself ill be buying some sort of HID lighting. Probably 600 watts.
