I take it branch by branch, first removing the bigger leaves, then trimming the sugar leaves, then hanging. But, some prefer to trim dry. If it's your first harvest, perhaps try some wet-trimmed and some dry-trimmed, and see which you like more.

Either way, you'll also need some good music, a comfortable chair, and something to smoke on while trimming. Of course, make sure to save your tiny popcorn buds and sugar leaves for hash. Otherwise, just enjoy it!

Cheers!

Make sure you hang them to dry in a cool dark place with good circulation. DO NOT have a fan blowing directly on the buds it will dry to fast and the smell won't come out right. Hang them for 3-7 days. Put them in jars once the stem between the nugs snap. The buds should feel dry on the outside at this point. Some people like to hang their plants for a few days then put them in a paper bag for a day or two before jarring. Once in jars you start the curing process. This can last anywhere from a few days to several years. The longer the cure better the smell and smother the smoke. The curing process consists of slowly drying the "inside" of your buds. You put your buds in mason jars I personally have the jars 1/2-3/4 full. Once a day I open the lid give it a little stir and wait until the outside of the buds feel dryish (usually 10-15 min) I should also note that this time decreases through out the process. Then I seal the jars back up. The deeper you get into the cure the less you have to open the jars. Generally, I open the jars every day for 5 days. Then drop down to ever other day for a few days and so on... I say generally because sometimes they need more, sometimes they need less Just naturale hit the nail on the head try a few different things and see what you like more. I personally like to wet trim. Drying and Curing is an art form. It takes time and practice to master.

honestly people do it either way with great success. Just keep your humidity around 40-50% if u can, and don't hang them to close to each other and all should be fine (some space between each branch not much required). I find if u trim the big stuff off before u hang it it dries faster and is easier to trim. If u don't let it get over 50% ur chance of mold/mildew are low and the drying should go smoothly. i

cut branch by branch, trim and hang for 9-10 days, put in mason jars. Open jars for 15 minutes a day for 30 days. For extended storage more than 3 months, I put a medium size bovida 62% pack in each jar. Buds are smokable after 2 weeks of cure but are best after 3 months.
