almost time to flower... a quest. about lighting

Hey Guys I have 32 12-14 inch healthy plants underneath 2 1000 watt mh's. I have about a

week of veg to go before I flower. I also have 2 1000 watt hps in the room, can I

turn these on with the mh's for the last week of veg to get the plants used to the

new hps spectrum?There will be 4 k's total. I will spread the pots out throughout

the whole room also, not just 16 huddled under each mh. I want to know if

this will boost the final week of veg growth or hinder it. Temps will not be a problem either. +rep to the best advice

ps. they usually look way perkier and alot bigger, they are just sleeping right now... about an hour before their scheduled light up they bounce up

Looks good man 2 x 1000w MH and 2 x 1000w HPS is alot of light maybe a bit to much (never thought id say that) If it was me i would only use 1 x 1000w MH and both the HPS`s but space thoes girls out nicely would also be a good idea to mist them once a day with PH water on the tops and fan leafs with all that light and power in just 1 room lol gonna get warm man lol.

For flowering tho i would only use the 2 x 1000w HPS.

But Def have to say looks sweet alot of power but gonna be alot of bud i think also. Keep me updated bro good luck.

Right on man thanks for the post. You gotta understand though... you see I'm friends with some local growers, sorta, my buddy just started working for a hydro shop and the

boss has been growing for 35 years here on the coast of BC where I am. The best most experienced growers say that in order to reproduce a nature-like spectrum you should

balance your sodium with halide, half/half. The word is is that you get a vigorous maximum amount of potency this way, it will slightly* diminish your yield but what you lose will

be made up in quality. I will be using a staggered pattern of MH x HPS 4000 watts for flowering, this has been the plan all the way and I will go through with it! lol Call it an

experimental grow if you will, I will continue posting on my journal for this grow, it's my first one haha check it out till the end if your curious of turnout/success, thanks again
