Aloe vera

Hi all

Im getting at this point in time aloe vera blades that are scarily huge. im talking 2 feet. How much would you pay for those if you had to pay?
Also how much is too much for foliar and watering? Ive done serious fucking abuses like 4 of those blades in 55 gallons of watering water and 1 whole blade in 1 gallon of foliar. Im wasting it right? Pretty sure each blade can have from half to 1 cup of gel sometimes more! How much is ideal really?

I wouldnt pay anything for them as I grow them myself . I also feel like we as humans are in the wrong direction when the 1st thing we think about is money, but anyway aloe is some great stuff!!

I use 4-5 18 inch blades in 55 gal drum of water and thats fine. 1 small blade of few inches is enough for 1 gallon. Its enough to basically slick the water.

Coconut water has the same effect with a different micronutrient profile so I use in combination.

Transplant a couple of those big blades and make your own....Easy to grow

what does putting it in water do exactly?

Yea you doing big batches though.. the one gallon is way over done though, lol, just a tsp - Tbsp will do.

As for money, we use the words wrong these days..Money is a store of wealth, even over centuries, so our friend is actually concerned with currency, not money (aka gold and silver), and self-employment, perhaps.. so BIG UP!

but yea plants go for $15-$40 around here, thats what i would do. grow them up a bit. bump them on kijiji and craigslist. deliver for a small fee or offer free pickup.

in fact..Sell me one! jk i will get local but yea great stuff.

Just did some cloning with no aloe or coconut (or anything) and it went well, but I'm looking forward to adding aloe as a potential weapon in the garden..
most natural 'weapons' in nature have multiple, multiple uses

hey Vn,
what is the coconut water aloe combo recipe u use?

Ok so i see you guys use a fair bit too. I love it for foliar, doing it every two days and seeing better results than using neem.
Theres no way i could ever grow as much aloe as i need. The plant stunts its growth in winter so its not like you can trasnplant them, very successfully now.

1 cup of coconut water and a small blade to 2 gallons of water. Aloe grows and transplants in tropical zones year round.
