That is true - what I should've said was there's no way I can tell you what this plant will yield ...but there's no way you'll pull 100 g off of this plant - that is, unless you train it to do so & that takes time....longer than an 8 week veg from seed if you topped/fimmed, recovered, & trained out the branches to a squatty fattened bush. A 2 month veg from seed is about minimum what you would need for an average yield off a single plant but you could veg out a clone in half that time & it would likely give you a whole lot more weed.
Why would you start cutting it when it's in flower? You give the worst advice to anyone if you ever tell them to start vegging a plant that has started flower because 75% will fail and not take or something will not work right, your better off using a lot of string and tieing it down in different areas and also if you can get it out of the tent(Still don't know why anyone uses them junk things they are stupid they overheat, no room, and you cant even grow any decent size plants in there)
Because it would yield a lot more if it was topped & revegged for a couple weeks. I question your claim of a 75% failure rate- sounds to me like you are talking straight outta your ass...if you revert your plant back to veg phase- the plant will grow out bigger/bushier with larger sized buds. Surely not trying to give out bad advice but I would like to know what you mean by saying a reveg would not "take" or "something" will not work right...so lets check my math shall we? Hmm
more branching + bigger nodes= more bigger buds
Seems like sound advice IMO.
As far as growing in tents I agree there are better options but if this is what you've got to work with for now why not use your space as efficiently as possible? Nothing wrong with growing in a tent. I still use them to veg plants temporarily in a perpetual system and then flower them out in a dedicated bloom room which literally took years to get here so...fuck the haters...use what you've got until you can come up with something better. Always be improving your game and one day your game will be so tight you'll help others do the same.
The option to tie her down is there but it might be a bit too late for this girl. If you've got other plants still I n veg I suggest topping them at least once & them allowing the lowers to become new colas before taking clones & then flipping them- adding a net or tying the branches down evenly will further increase yield but again you've got to fill in a SCROG net in order for it to improve yields which requires veg time. You could try to tie this one down like a pretzel but then you won't have room for anything else & you won't realize too much more bud than you will yield as it is. My 2 cent -good luck happy growing
