Hello All,

I am a new member to this site, and I would start my first thread as i am getting ready to do my first grow  (i know lots of firsts lol). As the title states i want to know if i am on track with my setup. My plan is to grow 7 girlies from clone indoor on a Ebb & Flow table (7 is the magic number in my county ). I am gonna get the clones from a club down in Berkley or Oaksterdam as its called now. Here is my equiptment list, please let me know if i am on track with the setup i got or if i need more/less what ever:

-2x4 Ebb & Flow table
-1000 Watt HPS
-1000 Watt MH
-portable 7,000 btu a/c unit
-The original hydrohut
-a DIY carbon filter make from a post on this site :hump:
-and a couple inline fans to cool the lights and keep the room at temp.

Is there anything else equipment wise i need? I have all the grow medium, nutes, testers, monitors, ect. I figure i will do a grow journal as well on here once i get it going, but i want to make sure i am set to grow before i start:mrgreen:.

Any input would be appricated, and thank you in advance for your help.

the 2x4 table should be big enough if you go with the SOG growing method, there are some tutorials around the web that are informative but basically it tells you a square foot per plant, when doing this you should not forget to trim the bottom branches a few weeks in to make sure that the plant isn't wasting its time on the lower branches that aren't getting enough light anyways. 1000 watts is a lot for this small of a table so i might recommend that you consider a 4x4 or something but you should be fine. good luck dude!

awesome thank you for the reply. I was thinking that too, that i would be in a sense wasting my 1000 watter if i only used a 2x4 table... hmmmmm i guess my real question would be if i was to do a soil grow would that be better than using my 2x4? in terms of plants i would be able to grow, quality, and ease of growing? Let me know!

and NOW you dont have to worry about it because a 4'x4' SOG > soil any day (unless you're browndirtwarrior)

its all good, i dont expect anyone to provide me with all the info just cause i started a thread. I know if you want something well thought out you have to do the foot work yourself.
