Am I over or under watering my plants?

I'm not sure what is wrong. I water my plant once a day, maybe every two days and the leaves are wilting pretty bad. The plant is two weeks old. I am using nutrient rich black soil from my backyard so I haven't used any fertilizer yet. Oh, and btw it's just bag seed.

The roots are starved of oxygen from the constant watering. Water it till there is a good amount of runoff and then don't wait till it dries out completely bit till the first three inches of the top.of the soil is dry. Also it needs a good feeding, it's starving. . If your using dirt from your backyard then your soil.is alive and has plenty of natural beneficial microbes so using an organic fertilizer would do well in your soil.

As far as your watering schedule. Stick your finger in the dirt, if the first 3 or so inches are dry then go ahead and water. Or you can do a quick test. Water, then wait and watch closely. When the first set of leaves start to droop, water, then you have a baseline of how long you can wait in between feedings/watering.

too much water , actually when the plants are that young i allways wait until the pot is bone dry , pick it up and see if it is really light , you can actually once let her start drop from underwater , she will recover in 15 minutes after watering .

Doing this will develop a stronger root system faster. and enables your roots to oxigenate, after you have a stronger root system its harder to overwater. but till they are establish , you better work on the dry side. Cannabis plants genetics thrive on dryer soils than too moist ones .

i forget to mention , that young , but not seedling stage , in that case you can only let the top inchs of the soil dry out , off course , but by that age she already have a deeper root and you can let the pot dry completly

Just checking, I see you're using a homemade pot, do you have holes in that for drainage?

I put holes in the bottom and I'm actually going to transplant it soon.

Chill out a little bit with the watering.
Let the pot dry out a bit between each watering, or the roots will drown.

Thats a very hungry little plant...and probably over watered...but whats with the black tape?

somebody finally noticed the tape ,i wasn't going to say shit and see how long it would take . great job md914 .best thing for him to do is transplant that thing and start feeding it

i would say that sagging stem means under feed and it broke on him

You couldnt see it in the picture but there was a bobby pin i had taped because the stem was growing crooked. The plant grew to like 3 inches over night so the stem was thin and growing crooked. The stem is sturdy now and I took the bobby pin and tape off. And also, the picture makes the plant look much more yellow than it is.
