Am I Planting it right?

Ok so this is my first grow and i was wondering if i am planting the seed right.

I got a pic of a cup(not the one i'm using) for an example so pretend like there is soil in that cup or whatever.

Look at the pic is that the right way?
[[I got the root that popped out facing down so that would be inside the soil facing downwards.]]

Root down about 1/2 inch under the soil.

Put a drainage hole in the bottom.

yep that pretty much says it all, its super simple..

I got the drainage hole and everything just making sure i'm plantin' hopefully "her" right.
