Amber Colored Trichs @ 2 Weeks Flower?

Hello,

This is my first time posting here to this community and I have been seeing that there is a lot of help to be offered on these forums. Thank you for reading my post and I would appreciate any input that could be given. With that said, let me get to the issue.

TL;DR: 2 female plants flowering for approximately two weeks. Trichs are there on both plants, but on one of the plants some are clear, some are cloudy, and I have about a dozen amber trichs. Since vegging they have not grown above 8" (cut them off because I have 3 feet of grow space) . 100Watts of light are being used, and R/O water, as well as nutes being given periodically.

Could I harvest this successfully now because of the trichs, or should I wait? (I like a head-high.) What could be causing them to not 'triple in size' as I have read before?

Background:

One is in Schultz timed release soil, and another is in organic soil with lime/perlite for pH balance and drainage, nothing else added other than a dirt mix. Using R/O water that is pH'd at 6.5 - 6.8. I am feeding periodically with MG fertilizers. Temperature is 75-85 degrees Fahrenheit, humidity is approx 30-40%, one in-take and one out-take fan for ventilation. I have two 40 watt CFL lights hanging above the plants, and one 20 Watt to the side near the buds for maximum coverage with my three lights. They have been flowering for two weeks and have stayed at 8" height, they have not grown upwards as expected to triple in size during the flowering phase, I have not seen an inch of growth on either plant. I created a jeweler's eyepiece out of spare parts from a telescope I have; the plant in the organic mix has many trichs, some are clear, some are cloudy, and about a dozen are amber in color. I am trying to discern why I have not seen any growth upwards, and if I should harvest the one showing cloudy / some amber trichs? I've read that flowering time is usually a minimum of 4 weeks, but most flower longer. Do I have a freak strain? I believe it is probably from BC as I was living in northern central US at the time I got the bag-seeds. I know that this is a lot of information, and I appreciate everyone who takes the time to read this thread and answer my questions, and make suggestions. I have a lot of trust in the fellow growers here, any and all help is valuable to me. If you need more information, I will gladly supply it.

let me put it this way there is no weed in the world that flowers only two weeks and is ready to chop. If there was a strain like that every grower i know would be growing it including me. the only thing that i can think of is genetics or budrot causing the colors. normal flowering time is between 8-10 weeks. keep them growing.

By a "dozen amber trichs" I mean across the entire plant. Maybe one or two per bud, or less. There are many cloudy / somewhat clear trichs as well. A lot of the pistils have browned, but there are still some white ones.

Here are some pictures that my plant resembles. It is almost identical except it has more brown pistils. The trich ratio is about the same as the microscopic pictures. I was inquiring on another thread at cannabis.com, and someone suggested that it might be an auto-flowering strain, which I have no experience with. Maybe you guys would know more from the pictures?

*edit
The color of the plant is the same as the last picture of the top cola shot.

I believe now that my plants are auto-flowering. I figured that some random bag-seed wouldn't be, but it appears so. They both showed their sex being female at three weeks into vegging, and now two weeks into 12/12 they look like they're ready to be harvested. Not to mention they haven't grown above 12 inches. I'd really like an expert's opinion from the pictures that I submitted that my plant looks like, though. It looks like I may have hurt them from doing a 12/12 schedule.. pure ignorance on my part. I'll know this for future grows, though.
