Amend garden soil

Hi just woundering if this is good for seedlings says that its natrual with npk ferts, clay soil cond., and has good drainage the npk is .30-.10-.10 would this be good for my seedlings? I put a seed in it for fun but i dont want to wait and see if it was a waste a time.

What kind of soil is this; is it soil that came from your garden? If it's clay-like you may want to amend it with something that allows more drainage and air retention, such as perlite. Clay soil can get very compact and the roots may struggle trying to get air.

The NPK seems good for starting seedlings...you shouldn't have to worry about burning them with NPK ratios below 1% each.

Its some kind of brand i found in my shed i guess ill mix perlite in it and ill be gtg.
If your seedlings are still younger than 2 weeks, I would hold off on any nutes. Wait for the first set of "true leaves" to show, and then start regular feedings.
