Amending Native Soil?

I'm doing a late guerilla grow this season and with where my spot I basically have no choice but to use the native soil. So what could I do to amend it? My plan was to dig the holes and put the native soil into a trashbag and break it up really fine then mix in perlite, vermiculite. Then I was planning on using the Espoma Tones products as a top dress for nutes when they're hungry.

Does this sound good? I know this I won't get optimal yield or potency doing this but if I can get something smokeable I'm happy. Any other suggestions? Basically anything I carry in would have to be smaller amendments like perlite, peat, ect.

If budget isn't the problem, why don't you buy good potting soil & transfer it in parts?

It depends on your native soil. If you have hard, red-clay soil you will need amendments to increase drainage, if your soil is sandy and dry you will need something to increase water retention.
