American getting a medical marijuana license in Canada

Is it possible for an American to get a medical marijuana license for use in Canada? Would process for getting it be any different than for a Canadian?

From what I understand of the current rules you would need to be a Canadian resident, regardless of citizenship.

I hadn't given it any thought until now, but I would assume that if you had a Canadian address and a script from a Canadian doctor, it shouldn't be a problem.

probably no better than our pink slips would be south of the border....into the US.
two separate countries...with very little chance of these laws over-lapping....but who knows...maybe someday.....
when prohibition is a thing of the past...
