Well, once I got the sourdough recipe down it wasn't enough. I needed further experimentation. I liked the sound of this recipe so I tried it. It was orgasmic. I think this one would be excellent as a cannarecipe as well. I don't do much canna-cooking anymore but when I did cinnamon always did a good job of complimenting the cannataste. You'll need the sourdough starter to do this one. Compared to the sourdough this is a fast bread. Or "quickbread".

- 1 cup Amish Friendship Bread Starter (sourdough starter works fine)
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (heaping)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder (2 teaspoons, was alittle flat with og recipe)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (heaping)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 2 (9x5 inch) loaf pans. (I used 1 big glass casserole and buttered the entire thing then sprinkled sugar before putting the dough in)
- In a large bowl, combine the Amish bread starter with oil, eggs, 2 cups flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix well. Pour into prepared loaf pans.
- Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
