amsterdamn alone???

Whats good guys, wondering what advice i could get. Ive never traveled alone before but my friends are pussying out so i have no choice but to go alone to amsterdamn..bummed they cant come but fuck it thats not gonna hold me back. I was wondering if you guys think i would have a good time im 19 and plan on going during cannabis cup

Yes you will. There will be lots of people there and lots of partys. Try meeting people on the same flights as you. You will have fun, just dont get caught in a back alley alone.

Use common sense and you'll be fine, when you're in Amsterdam you're among many like-minded people... respect the culture, learn about it, and they'll respect you.

Yo could have a good time if you meet some people that know the place a little.

I'll see you there attending to the Cannabis Cup myself alone because my friends are pussies. One friend of mine is willing to come tho, but he shows no interest and i'd rather travel alone! If you are able to take care of yourself and enjoy being alone to chill out , there should be nothing stopping you from traveling alone!

Dude, alone is the best way to do it .... no one to hold you back ... you will meet tons of people that is for sure .... just network .... lots of stuff to see .... outside the cup as well .... if you are adventurous .... follow your journey to Freetown Christiania if you are adventurous ...

Have a good time man, if your thinking an apartment how long you think about staying over there? That seems like a bit much for a vacation or trip of a week or two but if your planning on being there for a month or a few I see why an apartment would be proper

m8, do what i did, i went with 4 guys, i woke up b4 them, went to a coffeshop, got my weed, went to a bar, got loads of vodka n shit, got totally smashed and waited to see where id end up in the mornin, it was a brilliant holiday..... i think it was anyway

I am not sure how long you are going to go for, and where you are willing to end up but if you are just going to stay in the city ... look into staying in Hostels ..... it is way cheaper than hotel .... and that is where you will meet young people. I would do a google search for hostels in AMSTER ... and familiarize myself with what is vacant at the time of arrival.

also can i suggest the first coffeeshop u go to be the gray area, fucking love that place and the weed is very nice.

Hostels are cool and there's a bunch that are smoker friendly too..flying pig i think is one. You'll have fun, just use common sense...don't get robbed and be aware is all. You should also consider leaving a'dam and checking out the countryside. You can also take trips to belgium or germany while you're there, it's really close and not that expensive to travel by train. You can usually get away with bringing some hash and weed with you as long as you don't have more than 5g or so, you should be fine.

Yeah, grey area is awesome but very small and crowded. But they do probably have some of the best weed in the world...

yh that thing bout bein robbed, i knew a few white guys from my school, not the most gangster but still fairly hard, they said a bunch of morocans tryed 2 put it on them, they just told them to fuck off or theyl get bangd, they ran away, amsterdam gangs arent hard, they tried screwin 1 time at night when i was on my js, i werent avin it, just shouted "got a problem fam!" they looked away, i stayed in a hotel, hostels get me too paronoid bout some guy wit a chansaw cumin in and choppin me up and puttin me in a dutch stew, also i wudnt suggest goin to the greenhouse coffeshops, the weed and atmosphere is just too touristy for me, the dampkring and amnesia and double reggea were fairly good coffeshops, i rememba 1 coffeshop, near the edge of amsterdam, brilliant weed, and just 4 me and my black friends they pointed us to an amazing chicken shop, they had some marinated chicken and rice that was out of this world, and they didnt mind us blazin outside the shop aswell, i went on a lil trip to belgium when i was completely drunk, the authorities are really harsh thier, and its a fairly boring place, nothin to do but eat loads of junk food, was gonna go germany but im scared of nazis and i dont like turks.
