Well, today marks the end of my first "real" grow where I made it from vegetation into flowering. I don't really count all the seedlings dieing in the past...I'm pretty disappointed though but have learned a lot from my grow.
I didn't know squat about ph levels and nutrients so for 3/4 my grow I had around 8.5+ ph and I was giving the plants nutrients every watering(I know I know). I also had a mite infestation that really took a toll on the plants. I also started my grow with 1 crappy light(before many more) and the plants were really stretched out. Despite all that though, they survived and pushed through. I started flowering 2 weeks ago and today found out all 5 of my plants were males!! What is the coincidence of that? Every single one had little green sacks. So that ended my first grow. Was too much stress a possibility for the high male turn-out? I'm about to start my aerogarden grown after I finish my new box...hoping for better results with that.
