where i live i use a bicycle as my main mode of transportation during the summer months when its not -30F outside. we do have cross walks throughout the town and in each cross walk there is a yellow sign in the middle of the road that says "yield to pedestrians, state law". i cant tell you how many times ive almost been hit by the tourists from texas. just the other week my nephew was visiting and we were crossing the street and some guy sped up and came within a foot of my nephew and myself, on the far end of the crosswalk(traffic coming from left), and the dude had more than enough time to stop. texas plates. i know that every texan in the world isnt a POS, but most are. fuck texas.
