Heres the set up

I just looking for any experienced growers that would share tips on how to guarantee 10 pounds off this set up . What things do u do that makes u get more than perfect yields? Thank u for any feedback

I am going to be using 70% Coco coir & 30% perlite. I'm using fox farm trio nutrients. No co2. I'm going to be using red solo cups for seedling stage, 3 gallon fabric pots for vegatative stage, & then 5 gallon fabric pots for flowering stage. I will be doing 8 grow tents total. The grow tents sizes are all 78' x 48' x 48'. There will be 4 Veg tents and 4 flowering tents. I'm using 4 T5 4ft 8 lamp Fluroscent lights for the 4 veg rooms and 4 1000w HPS lights for the 4 flowering rooms. I have proper ventilation for all 4 HPS lights heat is not a problem. I will be using LST and topping twice max. I will be doing 16 plants total my first run. 4 plants in each tent. All my strains will be 450-600g yields at least strong indicas. I plan to veg them for 2 months and then switch to flowering.

You need 1/4 to 1/3 as much veg space as you do flower. So like 2 or 3 veg tents and 5 or 6 flower tents. Plants double-triple in size after flipping to 12/12. You will also want to do solo cup-1 or 1.5 gallon plastic pot- 5 gallon plastic pot. I see very few coco grower use fabric.

Yield is dependent on skill. Sounds like you dont know a ton so dont expect anything amazing when you start out but if you stick around here long enough, it might work out really well for you. That being said, 10 bows per harvest is easily doable from 6 1000w hps lights.

And have you actually ran a 1000w light? The heat they put out is a force to be reckoned with.

I preshiate everything u said so just use plastic pots instead of fabric and no I haven't even turned it on yet but I do got a AC Infinity cloudline t6 quiet 6" inline duct fan with temperature humidity controller for each 1000w light .

And you say yield is dependent on skill . What exactly is skill dependent on is where I'm trying to get at?

If I am not mistaken, you are shooting for just over 1G per watt, if you aren't already experienced in growing this will be a hard number to hit.
Yea that's why I was asking what are some good tips from growers that have hit that goal that helped them get those yields out that set up

There is none, it's not rocket science, spend enough time reading your plants and pay attention every day and stay on top of your shit and keep a clean ship as they say. And the only "I will" you'll be doing is making mistakes and learning from them. You've done your reading, now it's just doing it.

Okay bet , that's exactly what I was looking to hear I felt like this was true

Also plan out your year. Sometimes it's better to get less weed if you can fit more cycles in. You'll have to find that balance but you may find that in your goal to 10 pounds you lose.

a long veg, healthy plants, low stress training, proper defoliation, and plenty of air flow, i mean beyond that, how well can you keep a plant alive? its comes down to how well you have growing your strains dialed in.

Yea I already have honestly I plan to harvest every 3 months that would be 2 month veg from what I read that should be good enough for what I'm trying to do with my set up . I should get 4 grows each year I'm hoping to get 30 ps total at the end of the year

Experience and willingness to learn from your mistakes and others.

and tons of research
I've done at least 2 months of research and I'm very sufficient on how I research topics I've researched tons and watched tons of videos on lst , defoliation, and topping to make sure I trust my knowledge. I've also researched tons of questions over the past 2 months pretty much every scenerio so far at this point I just think of something I never have researched before that I want to be for sure about before I start my grow . More than enough research done . I see some of the weed I get out here and wonder how somebody could possibly grow it bad as they did like it'll still smoke and get u high just looks like to me sloppy grower in the consistency part and research part . I be wondering what kind of set up are they running for them to grow something that doesn't look really nice and smoke almost full potential.
