I got J.Cervantes grow bible, I got it in 2003/4 and it was 3rd edtion or somthing, has good pictures, with lots of info, and when i say lots it has everything.
My only concern for it is because its an old edition the details on lighting and hydro methods is abit outdated. (it refers to NFT as a brand new and really untested hydro setup,ha, and dosnt have many details on newer lighting rigs/setups, for example no soild info on cfl's, has t5 lighting details,u know the long tubes) but i mean the light output figures in there are still sound, number dont really change to much, as in the light deteriation charts, and hood reflective charts are still sound. But i got it back then and it was only £17, so you could probly get an new edition for roughly the same.
Saying that the details on spidermites and inscets etc. maybe abit old and you can get newer chemicals but it has things like homemade insecticides/pesticides from tabacco mixes to that chemical you cant actually buy anymore.
so yeah , thats a good read , The Grow bible, Indoor and Outdoor mj horticulture, by J Cervantes.
