Any one else buy some EmDogs?

Ya i got hooked in. so be it. il be able to truly show if its hype or not. i popped them with a pile of other companies so they will have lots to compete with.

SO FAR its not lookin good for the em dog. lacks a lot. it might just be a dense tight node plant and the seedling is just really small but i somehow doubt it. one of them had white seedling leaves too. the little round ones that come out first. ya bleached white. only the tips ever turned green.

I had to perform a CeedSection on all 3 em dogs but i find that pretty normal with almost everyones beans now a days. i had to hit all the recons i just popped with one too. (CeedSection is where you have to cut the shell of the seed away so the seedling can come out)

only breeders i haven't had to do this with was Bodhi and this most recent pack of Kryptonite by pyramid came up flawlessly.

Anyone else get there emdogs in right away?

Mate, seriously, go pick up something from SinCity. Also boutique quality seed, fat as all hell and like me and a few others have found, just leap out the husks... Some of their Alien lines need a scuff but they'll tell you right on the pack if it's a thick husk... I fully intend on buying up their lines before they get too big and start over-producing seeds, right now their quality control is beyond impressive... I think you will enjoy them.

i used to do ceedsections, lol i noticed if you dip your finger in water and hold the drop from you finger against the seed it will gradually moisten and receive the drop. works pretty good.

I've thought about ways of moistening them. I've used a sprayer that i just pull slightly to make drops just drip out. i usually just cut em out carefully. I had one grow like 4 inches stuck in its shell looking for light and i wanna avoid that ever happening again lol

it looks so weird when its next too others.

That weird bleached leaf of one of my emdogs is going away and the leaves are turning green. very weird.

iv had seedlings that were white but they were grown with no light lol anyone heard of that strain new york white? grown in the sewers? lol

lmao...you dont ever have to mess with the remaining husk it will usually fall off as the leaf grows and if it doesnt drop away it doesnt matter, wont hurt anything

I'd say you've had some excellent luck all the time then. I've had beans stay in their little shells, growing out looking like lanky sperms, streeeeeetching that stem out to unacceptable levels. I agree with HGK it's been getting more common as beans get more immature.
Finding breeders that don't supply such weak beans has been a treat, though. Guys like Bodhi and SinCity will have my loyalty for life. Guess you just made better choices than us bro.
Happens with the smaller and less mature seeds often.

I went in on a pack of EmDog's i'm running along side Headband by ResP, EmDog's popped up and I too had to perform a Ceedsection haha (love that term) as well as on the HB's common practice these days it seems...
It's only bin a few days since popping but all are looking nice n healthy.

I just hope it's not all hype.... Looking forward to them all the same

I found these small little 2 ml disposable pipettes to be perfect for that. They should cost you guys a few cents each I guess. I always have a few of those and a few syringes thrown in with my orders from the hydro store, the pipettes are particularly handy if I have to pH a small amount of water, like clone mixes or for starting a few beans.
I must say it does help quite a bit, but not more than once a day. I had one seedling rot inside it's husk and I put it down to trying to keep it too wet.
A careful ceedsection is still the safest I think, overall.

its risky either way really. i broke the head off of one of my ReCons by putting just a shade too much pressure on one spot or another. was such a sad moment.

ya they are definitely the smallest in this batch but they are rocking along. i just got my macro tubes last night for my camera, il take some pics of the weird white one and of this weird ReCon one i got going. gimme a min.

I went for the emdog hype. One thing I have learned is sometimes you wanna take small risk. I read a lot on these forums and post little. I have been trolling here for a long time. One thing I notice is you get many opinions on the authenticity of seeds, the character of the so called breeders, and who has the best of certain genetics. As I sit in in the Midwestern US, I have to make my purchase decisions based on these opinions. I live in a Nazi state and we are not med legal. So I am somewhat of an underground grower of cannabis with no access to elite clones . I am sure they are out there if you search, but Im not searching! My grows have showed me that there are a lot of hidden gems floating in the cannabis world, but if I limit my purchases to one company then I will never find out. yes I may have some fire from that company, But variety is the spice of life. If the EmDog hype is legit, seems like some gems may be hidden in there. So I figure, what the heck, I will give it a try! The sad part of the story is my envelope arrived with the dreaded green tape attached and product removed. The tude has reshipped but hey I may not receive those either. Hoping it makes it through this time
