Not sure about the chemicals... but doesn't bottled water have the ph values on the side of the bottle?

There are also several other ways to calibrate your meter... lemon juice is 2.2 or something. Just google it. I've never used the chemicals though.

Better to google something along the lines of calibration of ph meters with household items, or something...

you need to open off the cap at the end, inside is a little screw,

You need to first rinse the probe part, then after that dip it in the ph7 buffer and turn the little screw until it reads 7
then you need to rinse it again and then dip it in the lower ph buffer, then all the screw, job done, pat yourself on the back and have a joint my son.

you would want to use the 7.0 to calibrate it, just put your clean probe into the solution let it sit, make sure the temp is at 25c then there should be a knob or something that you can turn to calibrate it to 7.0

Hanna pHep Meter - Waterproof (Hl 98127)
  • Resolution 0.1 pH
  • TWO point calibration - automatic
  • 350 hr battery life
  • Accuracy ± 0.1
  • Automatic temperature compensation
  • Waterproof case Range pH 0 - 14
I think you put your meter in the solution press the set button or something and it should read 7.0

Yep thats is just put it in the solution and it will read 7.01 or 4.01 try them both and it should read correctly. may take a few minutes, but thats it on a Hanna

Now tell me how to calibrate my new Milwaukee?
