sounds like the person who did that up was aiming to further mimic nature

in principle there's no reason why it wouldn't work

whether you would see an increase in anything beneficial at all is a whole other question

and a scientific one at that

so do some science, and find out for yourself how it works. you will maybe find a handful of people on here who tinker with lighting schedules like that

and even less who get good results

Very true think i might go for it hope i dont lose out ! thanks for the input guys think i will start the grow journal now keep a look out !!

I have read up this, but never saw an actual grow- a thread would be nice. I would like to try it, but I was never able to locate a timer that would handle 4 different o/o times

I think.it depends on strain. It would work better with pure sativas. But less light, less bud. Where sativas originate the light cycle is somewhat similar.
