Any opinions on what strain to grow?

so im just getting a bunch on new gear and some of that includes a dwc set up! so does anyone have any ideas of what seed i should grow in it?? i was thinking either Sharksbreath or critical mass 33. what do you guys think will give me some frosty buds and trim :)? :bigjoint:

I just grew a Yumboldt Indica in DWC and it was insane. It smelled really fruity and had perfect, low leaf to bud ratio. took abuse, no pests , short. Really liked it for DWC / scrog .
At the moment , I am obsessed with SAGE by THSeeds. It has been a hard one to grow perfectly and therein lies the challenge !

if you want fat and frosty, all my mates never shut up about white rhino (the smoke to me isnt so great) but it possesses the characteristics you mentioned, and I have seen it first hand to be a good grower.

great insight man, thanks! and i will definitely look into yumboldt!
but im with you 100% on the white rhino, i had huge frosty buds of white rhino but i didnt think it smoked great either. first and last time i tried the strain. this is all grown for personal use and for friends so that matters to me :)

if your looking for a strain above many :)) good yielder and frosty as hell try pure power plant you will never go back to anything else :)) this are only @ day 34 i think lol

you will never go wrong with og kush. best bud ever on the planet. might be a bit tough to grow butt fuck it, get the harder strains out the way first.

there's actually a lot of og kush on the streets where i live, i kind of want to grow something unique for this area.
og kush is pretty delicious though ;)

Wow! that's great since i was planning on making dry ice hash with this :D
i think im sold on pure power plant for my dwc, and to test the limits of my new phresh filter!
can anyone else second these findings with ppp?

Pure Power Plant is a strong mostly sativa variety developed in the late 90’s from South African strains. The tremendous growth potential of this plant is a prime example of hybrid vigor. PPP is the latest trend among Dutch commercial growers because of its high yields of the highest priced buds. Pure Power Plant has a pleasant, almost pine, after taste and a powerful social buzz. Flowering time after: 50-55 days
Height: 100-150 cm
Yield: 450 gr./m2
THC %: 8-15%
Harvest month: 9-10

There was just something about that strain taking abuse, loving water culture growth and the smell is among my favorite bud scents. When you smell it, you will know it. ultra fruity.

I have had good luck with all the Americanised strains in the past few years. I used to be a purist with it all , but am jumping on the new strain bandwagon now, rest assured. Power plant (above) looks amazing. checking it out now!
