Just wondering.. lol because it would make this forum if we have some growers who rave on this site
No shit. I lived that lifestyle for a good while. No regrets, It was fantastic.I still envy you, 90's or not that's when raves where the real thing.
Yeah, outdoor word of mouth parties were the best. No charge, no security, just good people, good music, and good drugs.I have been to many events over the last few years, from EDC las vegas over the last few years and this coming year, to event run by the guys that do burning man. But honestly I would say one of my raves to go to are the smaller ones that take 4.5 hours to find in the middle of no where. I feel like thats how it was in it roots, plus the drugs are so much better and cheaper, if not free most the time.
Most the raves I go to, I go for the people, friends, and music most of all. PLUR is the lifestyle to live when you party with ravers and molly is just a additive effect for me on top of it. Most the time when I go to events I'm sober for half the night, and then I will take some molly and/or acid. Its all about the experience and the fun times with the new family you meet at every event man, drugs are not the only things about raves.I'm not a raver per say but couldn't get into the scene for one major reason which the scene seems to revolve around: MOLLY. The substance that kids take now a days I would estimate is a 1:15 ratio of real:fake in regard to the chemical that people are trying to take and what they actually are, MDMA. Though the perceived notion is that powdered MOLLY is real and legit MDMA. The powder and crystal game is just a joke. I would seriously recommend the acquisition of a test kit that you bring whenever you purchase said substances. Any dealer not willing to allow a test is for sure not genuine product, move on. When testing product I'm sure those that let you test when the product isn't genuine got duped themselves, indicate to them something that they weren't aware of "ugh, this crystal is turning yellow then light brown" instead of the purple to black you want from and MD* chemical.
I also refuse to pay $100 for music that the DJ walks up and presses play on their MacBook Pro and then proceeds to dance with the crowd until set finish.
Otherwise I love the music, the people, and the surroundings when you find yourself at the concrescence of drug fueled peak to some bass filled music. Without the MDMA I don't see much reason for the music or the scene personally.
SureeeeeeeYup, cali is pricey...But that's just because the REST OF THE WORLD wants to live here...hehe
I'm not saying every individual in the world, but it's undeniably considered one of the better places in the world in which to live. Definitely more of a destination than say...Kansas...Or Missouri.Sureeeeeee
Lol! 1999 y2k end of the world rave was awesome! I participated in the later 98-00 years!I used to be, back in the late 90's when it was still cool...Wish I still could, but now I'm old and creepy.
