Any suggestions on a nice strain for a scrog grow?

Hey happy holidays everyone. I am planning a scrog grow. I was thinking 2 plants in a 48x24x60 tent or just 1 plant in a 36x20x60 tent. I will be growing in soil. I know I could scrog any plant but I am looking for some suggestions on a nice strain to try. I dont smoke or sell anything, its just given away to friends and family. So its just a hobby for me. I am looking for a strain that would have a nice yield. A strain that is good for a scrog. A nice smell and color. I would like to hear from growers that have done a scrog grow and what strain did you try. Happy holidays and may you all be safe.

Since SCROG requires about 3 more weeks veg time than other grows (in order to allow your plants to mostly fill the screen), you will probably want to choose a short-flowering plant. A nice indica, or indica-sativa mix..

On my SCROG grows, I use 3 plants in a 4x4x8 closet.

I'm an organic grower too. I'm currently growing my favorite strain in SCROG: Sannie's Sugar Punch. Only about $55 for 5 feminized seeds. GREAT aroma and high. 9-week flowering time.

Thank you for the reply. So any suggestions on what indica to try? If I used a 36x20x60 tent, how many plants do you think I could grow? The same for the 48x24x60 tent, how many do you think I could or should scrog in that size tent?

In a 36x20x60 tent, I'd SCROG 2 plants.
In a 48x24x60 tent, I'd SCROG 3 plants.
But keep in mind, some very experienced SCROG growers would use only one or two plants in those spaces.

I like more plants cause I don't like to wait forever for the plants to fill the screen.

Hey coyote...I'm a sannies man as well....best gear around by far....and I've grown a lot of breeders strains...none comes close to the quality of sannies....pure fire ....

Absolutely.

Sannie's Jack Herer is a great strain as well. I SCROG'ed 3 plants, and got a huge harvest of very potent bud. However, Sannie's Jack takes 13 weeks to flower.

I also grew Sannie's Herijuana. Very potent, but very harsh smoke that tasted...well...not so good.

What other Sannie's strains have you tried? I was thinking Shackzilla.

My last round was extrema ...this round its extrema..and a fem cross I made from extrema pollen x jackberryxmad sientist...nice mixture of both strains.....iv grown herijuana...madsientist...sugar punch....and the freebies I grew were...killaqueen x bluehammer regs...some potent shit with a massive yeild....jackberryx madsientist...strong smoke aswell with a lovley taste with a good yeild...i still have freebies put away that I.l grow out in the next round....shackzilla I didn't grow but its pure fire aswell...u can't go wrong no matter what U get from sannies there all top notch along with the freebies....scarecrow77

Their prices have gone down a bit, I might have to check them out.

I'm currently doing a little 1 plant auto scrog kind of thing , managed to get around 8 tops so far just with a little LST ...
I imagine if you have space for a couple it could do quite well
